Mika Yassur is a researcher and artist based in New York City. Their work examines political and computational genealogies of sight in relation to the built, natural, and destroyed environment.
Mika critically engages with cartography, aerial imagery, and archival research to produce works of video, sound, printed matter, and writing. They hold an M.S. in Computational Design Practices at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
